The game is set in a world bustling with life and crime, with biker gangs, crooked cops, and even Voodoo priests prowling the streets and hiding in the bayou.

Players can shoot their way through story missions in New Orleans's varied city districts, from the French Quarter to the slums to the mysterious bayou. Each district has its own unique flavor and action to discover. Exclusive to Gangstar New Orleans, Turf Wars bring fun GvG (gangster vs. gangster) excitement to the game, allowing players to defend their turf from rival crime gangs and gain free resources for future wars and crafting new guns and items.
